I completed the Crypt Raider section of GameDev.TV's Unreal 5.0 C++ Developer: Learn C++ and Make Video Games course to gain expertise in Pointers and References, Actor Components, and Scene Components. Additionally, I learned about various header files and Lighting mechanics using the Lumen Engine/System. This course gave me a comprehensive understanding of planning and using modular-level components and design. My most significant takeaway was gaining knowledge on line tracing, Collision, and checking and adding/removing actor tags and actors from other actors and components. I also learned how to effectively use loops through arrays.
